One Lure Challenge - The Rules

  1. The One Lure Challenge is a fun event, so please have fun.

  2. A lure is any artificial bait consisting of plastic, wood or metal mounted with hooks and/or trimmed with feathers, traditional flies are also acceptable.

  3. Natural baits cannot be added to hooks.

  4. Only one lure can be used per month, this means one size, one colour, although if chosen lure is lost damaged or snagged an exact replica can be used as a replacement.

  5. The lure can be fished using different methods, weights, hooks, ie jig head, texas or carolina rigs etc.

  6. This is a catch, photo, release comp please try and take photo with lure in fishes mouth. If hook should drop out (barbless) please don't rehook just have lure in shot. If you would rather just supply number of species with names of species and no photographs this is fine whilst no prizes are being awarded.

  7. The competition is open to fresh and saltwater species although they will be counted separately not as a combined total.

  8. Catch tally with names of species and photo's if taken to be sent to david@anglersafloat.co.uk and to include your forum name if a member to be supplied no later than 5 days after the new month.
  9. Chosen lure, colour and weight/size/length to be emailed to david@anglersafloat.co.uk before 1st day of each month.
